State Representative Weaver is focused on the priorities for York

  • Voted against the Sales Tax Expansion Bill in the last session. I also led the successful effort to repeal the statewide referendum to eliminate the Sales Tax Expansion Law.
  • Introduced and passed legislation (HB 534) to delay and study, for one year, the relocation of the York toll booth.
  • Introduced legislation mandating that State Employees pay part of their health insurance costs.
  • Worked with the Department of Marine Resources, local officials and local York
    clam diggers to be the first town along the Maine coast to re-open its clam flats last year.
  • Focused on opportunities for job creation and economic and community development incentives to benefit York County.
  • Committed to protecting the beauty and integrity of Maine's environment and outdoor heritage.
